Almotamar.net - SANAA-Politicians and academics on Thursday tackle in Sana'a drawing up the features of new Yemen under the leadership of President Ali Abdullah Saleh in a symposium sponsored by Al-Jumhuriya Establishment for press by discussion of 26 various working papers.

The symposium discussions and papers are including three major premises; political media and economic. The political papers are presented by assistant secretary general and head of the parliamentary bloc of the General People's Congress Sultan al-Barakasni who is talking about the political axis in general mad a paper by member of the Shoura Council Ahmed al-Asbahi whose paper tackles the future of Yemen and the Gulf in a form of a study on the nature of the relationship and institutional values of partnership. The editor in chief of al-Jumhuriya newspaper's paper touches on future of democratic changes in Yemen while Bilqis Abu Isbaa, chairperson of Al-Jazeera center for human rights studies deals in her paper the future of Yemen's women political participation. Professor Ghailan al-Sharjabi the professor from Sana'a University discusses in his paper the horizons of political pluralism while professor of political sciences at the same university Qaed Ghailan discusses thee future challenges of Yemen's foreign policy and the role of the national leadership. In his papa the deputy dean of the college of trade Abdulaziz al-Kimaim reviews the presidential and local elections and their role in making the future.
The paper of al-Mithaq newspaper editor in chief Iskandar al-Asbahi deals with future of the civil society in Yemen and its role in making democratic changes. The paper of the teacher of political sciences at Sana'a University Najib Ghalab offers a reading of president Saleh of the national project and future of the project under internal and external changes and the paper by the head of the political office of the GPC Abdullah Ahmed Ghanim tackles the laws of fighting corruption and their role in the political and economic reform. The journalist Farouq Thabit analyzes in his paper president Saleh's political address and his vision of the regional order and Yemen's role. Mohammed Al-Sabri, head of the political office of the Nasserite Unionist Organization talks on future of the opposition political address.

There are several papers presented about the media axis offered by undersecretary of Information ministry Hussein Basalim, professor of political communication at Sana'a University Abdujabbar Salam, under secretary of culture ministry Hisham Ali and editing manager at al-Mithaq newspaper Amin al-WAeli.

Regarding the economic axis there are papers presented by the minister of higher education and scientific research Saleh Bsurra, economics professor at Thamar University Faisal al-Mikhlafi, economics professor at Sana'a University Taha al-Fasil, head of the Yemeni center for strategic studies Mohammed al-Afandi, director general of strategic studies at the ministry of planning and international cooperation Mohammed al-Bashiri, the representative for the chamber of commerce and industry Mohammed a;-Maitami, economics professor Lutf al-Jahifi, Muna al-Mahaqiri, Ali Hussein al-Sharafi dean of the higher institute for police officers and representative for investment authority Arib Mohammed Abdulghani.
