almotamar.net - The Yemeni National Program for fighting Malaria in Yemen received Monday a financial and in kind aid from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounting to 4 million Saudi riayal as part of cooperation between Yemen and Saudi Arabia in fighting malaria in the border areas between the two countries. The program was started since 2001.
During the delivery occasion Dr Abbas Mohammed al-Mutawakil, deputy health minister for therapeutic medicine affirmed the close Yemeni and Saudi cooperation in a number of fields especially in health, mainly in combating malaria for reducing the rate of fatalities.
