almotamar.net - Head of the Information Office at the General People's Congress (GPC) Tareq al-Shamy on Tuesday expressed his astonishment about stances of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) and their leaderships concerning the dialogue.
He said the JMP are who refused the cal of the president of the republic to sit at the dialogue table where all the issues and developments to be discussed, he indicated that their refusal to join dialogue on the subject of political reforms proposed by the president through constitutional amendments to develop the ruling system to the full presidential, adoption the legislative system of two chambers, moving to the system of local rule in addition to giving the woman a share of 15% and the formation of the supreme commission of elections from judges, in line with the agreement of principles signed by political parties and organisations.
He considered statements Al-Shamy made it clear that the proposed amendments have surpassed the political parties and organisations and came ahead of them and the visions they used to submit about issues of the dialogue, they have come in pacing with the political and social action that the country is experiencing.
In a statement to almotamar.net al-Shamy considered the JMP's refusal to consider the proposed constitutional and legal amendments through dialogue as rejection of the political reform the JMP remained bidding on it through talking on the importance of it on all occasions.
Head of the GPC Information Office reiterated the GPC's welcome to return of the JMP to the dialogue table provided to be serious about it and the proposed constitutional amendments take the priority to the rest of issues, including the law of elections as it is connected to those amendments.
