Almotamar.net Saba - SANA'A, Jan. 26 (Saba)- National Defense Council affirmed on Saturday that the armed and security forces will not tolerate in fighting terrorism and will strongly face whoever intends to harm security of the nation and its stability.

This assertion was announced in a meeting held by President Ali Abdullah Saleh with military and security ministers and commanders.

The meeting addressed a number of political issues and developments in the national, Arab and international arena, coming on top is the negative developments currently taking place in Palestine under the escalations of the inhumane Israeli forces.

During the meeting, they discussed the developmental and economic situations in the country and the government solutions in this regard in order to accelerate development efforts and improve livelihood conditions for citizens and realize supply stability and food security.

They studied report of the economic activities of Aden Free Zone (AFZ) and remedies taken to better situations of pensioners and those who suspended from the military and security service, in addition to housing issues in a number of governorates.

The meeting also shed lights on security situations and destructive activities carried out by some anti-progress elements in Saada governorate as well as the terror attack that hit a number of Belgian tourists in Hadramout governorate, reviewing the set procedures by security bodies to arrest those involved terrorists.

Moreover, the participants discussed a number of reports by the state ministers over the overall development process and mechanisms of applying and operating developments plans and programs.

The meeting directed the council to speed up preparing studies to include 10 million citizens in the social welfare support program to cover a large sector of the local community.

It also affirmed the significance of taking all procedures required to promote investment process in all fields, particularly in sector of generating electricity energy.
