almotamar.net - The Development & Progress Forum, one of Yemeni civil society organisations, holds Sunday an intellectual symposium on the National Flag with participation of elite academics and politicians.
He symposium to be held at Sana'a University aims to come out with a legislative vision for organising the works related to the national flag in a legal form in accordance with executive regulation and a special law to be submitted later to the parliament to study.
Taking part in the symposium, organised under auspices of Yahya Mohammed Abdullah Saleh, Chairman of the Development and Progress Forum are numbers of jurists, lawyers, representatives for Guidance Administration at the Ministry of Defence and a number of specialists.
At the beginning of last March the Forum was declared as a national cultural forum founded by an elite of national political, cultural, media, academic, judicial and technical symbols in addition to civil action activists aimed at consolidation of the identity of national affiliation and enhancement of rights and public freedoms and the service of Yemeni issues.
