Almotamar Net - The conference 64 of health Ministers Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) elected Tuesday the Republic of Yemen Deputy Chairman of the Conference while the United Arab Emirates was elected as reporter of the conference. almotamar.net - The conference 64 of health Ministers Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) elected Tuesday the Republic of Yemen Deputy Chairman of the Conference while the United Arab Emirates was elected as reporter of the conference.

The conference held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will over two days discuss for the first time ways of fighting heart diseases and the Gulf charter of heart health with the aim of reducing heat diseases in the Gulf States and Yemen.

The conference where Yemen is represented by the Minister of Health and Population Dr Abdulkarim Yahya Rasie, discuses also many health issues in the Gulf States and Yemen and recent scientific developments for upgrading health services in the member states. The conference reviews also a detailed report on activity of the executive bureau and its achievements during the 32nd session and following up previous decisions and recommendations.

Almotamar Net - Doctors use the word “crisis” to describe the point at which a patient either starts to recover or dies. President George W. Bush’s Iraqi patient now seems to have reached that point. Most commentators appear to think that Bush’s latest prescription – a surge of 20,000 additional troops to suppress the militias in Baghdad – will, at best, merely postpone the inevitable death of his dream of a democratic Iraq. Yet as “Battle of Baghdad” begins, factors beyond Bush’s control and not of his making (at least not intentionally) may just save Iraq from its doom.
