almotamar.net - The province of Huddeida, west Yemen. Witnesses next Monday activities of al-Husseiniya 4th Festival for horsemanship and folklore games to be held under patronage of President Ali Abdullah Saleh. The Festival continues to 2 March and it is organized by the ministry of youth and sport and the local council of the governorate.
Youth and Sport Senior Undersecretary Muammar al-Eryany told almotamar.net that his ministry plans to make al-Husseiniya to be at the level of the Gulf region and not confined to the local level.
He has also pointed out that there are improvements in the festival in cooperation with the local council of the governorate, including the building of 25 horse stables and a special review seats for audience with the capacity of more than 20 thousand seats.
Al-Eryany also said that on the sidelines of the festival there will be a cultural week where there will be display of the cultural and folkloric heritage of the Huddeida province and its districts.
4th Huseiniyah Festival to start on Monday
