Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh the congratulated the movements of Fatah and Hamas and the Palestinian people on the signing of the Sana'a declaration by accepting the Yemen initiative for healing the rift between the two parties.

After signing the agreement the President said, "We congratulate the Palestinian people on signing this initiative and I think it will effect a full remission and begins to enhance trust between Fatah and Hamas and the rest of Palestinian factions."

The president requested Fatah and Hamas the calming down and media non-escalation and called on them to begin dialogue at the beginning of the next month, saying," Yemen will host you for resuming dialogue."
President Saleh affirmed that usually dialogue begins difficult but when there are good wills towards the sons of the Palestinian people whose country is suffering from occupation, oppression and unjust blockade Fatah and Hamas and all the Palestinian leaderships will then bear the full responsibility. "

The president said," Alleviate from suffering of the Palestinian people by your agreement as you are the two main factions and the rest of Palestinian factions, I am sure that the rest of the Palestinian factions will support for what you reach in Fatah and Hamas."

"The people of Palestine are the responsibility of the two main actions and we in the Arab homeland are with you to support whatever you reach and we cannot force any agenda from us as mediators but the agenda is in your hands and you know suffering of the Palestinian people more than others and we will support you." The president said.

The president pointed out that "this agreement or what has been agreed on will be enlisted on agenda of the upcoming Arab summit conference in Damascus."

President Saleh said, "By the will of God the initiative will not be just a Yemeni initiative but will be an Arab initiative and in the name of the brothers in the upcoming Arab summit in Damascus."

The president expressed his thanks for the brothers in Fatah and Hamas for the good intentions they have demonstrated during the dialogue in Sana'a that lasted for four days.

The president added that when intentions are good the dialogue partners can overcome all difficulties and that it is normal for the negotiators to be nervous but that tension will disappear gradually, you are comrades and brethren and all of you suffer what the Palestinian people suffer and no one is loser in this dialogue. "
