The President added," This visit will give us the chance to discuss ways of enhancement of the brotherly relations and areas of cooperation at different levels in addition to discussion of current developments in the region and concerns of our Arab nation as well as the issues that will be enlisted on agenda of the Arab summit scheduled in Damascus in a few days. We will discuss coordination of the two countries' efforts and their role in healing the rift in the Arab-Arab relations in the way enabling to come out of the summit with united Arab vision and resolutions tackling the Arab issues and enhancing the course of solidarity and integration among the brethren."

The President said," These efforts come completing the good efforts exerted by the brethren in Egypt and those of King Abdulaziz that resulted in signing the two agreements of Cairo and Mecca, all of them proceed from keenness on the Palestinian brethren overcome their differences and to work for enhancing their national unity and serving the Palestinian cause because beneficiary from the Palestinian difference is Israel that works for consolidating this difference so that to continue its aggression and imposition of its blockade on the sons of the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip. He also expressed his satisfaction over the steady development of the close relations between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, saying, "We are always keen on strengthening those relations and pushing them towards meeting aspirations of the two peoples."

President Saleh reiterated the welcome of the Saudi investments in Yemen affirming that those investments always receive all the care and encouragement for serving the common interests and enhancement of economic integration between the Yemeni and Saudi peoples.

President Saleh was received at Riyadh air force base airport by King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister, Minister of Municipal Affairs, the Foreign Minister, the Emir of Riyadh area and many Saudi Emirs and senior officials.

Almotamar Net - Doctors use the word “crisis” to describe the point at which a patient either starts to recover or dies. President George W. Bush’s Iraqi patient now seems to have reached that point. Most commentators appear to think that Bush’s latest prescription – a surge of 20,000 additional troops to suppress the militias in Baghdad – will, at best, merely postpone the inevitable death of his dream of a democratic Iraq. Yet as “Battle of Baghdad” begins, factors beyond Bush’s control and not of his making (at least not intentionally) may just save Iraq from its doom.
