Almotamar.net - Security sources in Hudeida governorate said Sunday Eritrean authorities have released a group of Yemeni sailors after a weeklong retention.
The sources added in a statement to almotamar.net Sunday the Eritrean authorities on Friday set free 8 Yemeni mariners after they had without justifiable legal excuses detained them, indicating that the Yemeni detainees were on board a fishing boat and were not in a position outside the international waters.
According to the sources the Eritrean authorities are still retaining the fishing boat belonging to the Yemeni sailors and they refuse return it without giving reasons.
