Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Tuesday issued republican decrees on appointment of the mayor of the capital and governors of the Yemeni provinces pursuant to the elections that were held last Saturday.
One of the presidential decrees stipulated the appointment of Abdulrahman Mohammed al-Akwaa as minister of state, mayor of the capital. The other decree appointed governors of the provinces and as follows:
-Hamoud Khalid al-Soufi, governor of Taiz,
-Muhsin Ali Naji al-Naqib, governor of Lahj,
-Ahmed Abdullah al-Hajri, governor of Ibb,
-Ahmed Ahmed Mohammed al-Maysary, governor of Abyan,
-Mohammed Nasser al-Amiri, governor of Al-Baidha,
-Salem Ahmed al-Khanishi, governor of Hadramout,
- Ali Mohammed Khoudam, governor of Al-Mahara,
-Ahmed Salem al-Jabali, governor of Hudeida,
-Yahya Ali Mohammed al-Amri, governor of Thamar,
-Nouman Ahmed Saleh Duaid, governor of Sana'a,
-Ahmed Ali Muhsin al-Ahwal, governor of Al-Mahweet,
-Farid Ahmed Mujawar, governor of Hajjah,
-Hassdan Mohammed Manaa, governor of Saada,
-Naji Ali Ali al-Zaidi, governor of Mareb,
-Kuhlan Mujahid Abu Shuareb, governor of Amran,
-Ali Salem al-Hadhmi, governor of Rayma,
-Ali Qassim Talib Hadi, governor of Al-Dhalie.
