Almotamar.net - Security authorities managed in the past few days to arrest a network that was running an information centre specialised in production of media material propagating for terrorist elements, followers of insurgent al-Houthi. The network was working in Jraf quarter in the capital Sana'a.
A security source said Thursday that the network is composed of three main elements; a teacher of Islamic education, an official working for a G.S.M company and another person. All of them have received technical training in information propaganda and voiceover outside Yemen in an Arab country along with getting help from some persons in an Asian country.
The source said investigations with the network members it was producing propaganda materials on the events and copying them on CDs and then distribute them among a number of newspapers and websites that desire propagating for terrorist acts perpetrated by elements of insurgence and sabotage in some districts of Saada.
The source also pointed out that elements of the network were writing leaflets and sending some information on trends of the public opinion and then sending them to terrorist Abdulmalik al-Houthi in addition to sending some film shots to journalists and newspapers abroad , among them American press especially to the American journalist Jane Novak. They were also writing daily bulletins of the so-called the information office of the rebels. The source added that elements of the network confessed of receiving funds from families of Hamidudin living in one of the neighbouring countries. He explained that after completing investigations with the network elements they would be sent to concerned authorities to be given just punishment for the acts they have committed.
