Almotamar.net - Assistant Secretary General of the General People's Congress for Information Affairs Ahmed Ubaid Bin Daghr has affirmed Friday that president Ali Abdullah Saleh's courageous decision of ending the war in some districts of Saada is considered a consideration by him of al the national circumstances and the homeland's higher interests as well as the interests of those who desired peace as well as the desire of the leadership.
Bin Daghr added that the decision has many dimensions and indications, some national including all the citizens of Yemen and all those interested in Yemen's stability and advancement, other indications are related to development out of the concept hat wars would only produce disasters and pains and are one of the factors of destruction for any society that intends to achieve progress in its political, social, economic and cultural life. In a statement to Aden radio Bin Daghr with the end of the war, "we have put ourselves on the looked for road and the road of future."
He affirmed that the rebels have offended the country, their families and relatives and the security and stability in the region and interrupted development. Bin Daghr indicated that the decision of ending the war has its positive reflections on return of life to normal, the return of security and stability to the areas that witnessed those disturbances and situations would be normal from now on and the governorate of Saada would witness a large-scale renascence in various areas.
He affirmed the GPC and the parties supporting the GPC keenness and al the parties that are not necessarily allied with the GPC, but the support the decision and stability, unity and democracy in Yemen. He said the war cannot be at the expense of the homeland's unity and its security and stability and its political system.
Bin Daghr also called on all citizens and the national forces keen on Yemen's unity, security and stability to support the decision stopping the war and to support stability al over the country. He also asked them to support orientations of the political leadership, particularly the President of the republic, regarding his pursuits and electoral platform.
