Almotamar.net, Saba - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar attended Thursday a meeting for the Ordinary General Assembly of Yemen Mobile Company. In the meeting, Mujawar delivered a speech through which he conveyed best wishes of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to all shareholders bodies and citizens in the company on the occasion of passing one year of announcing it stock company.
He indicated that Yemen Mobile has embodied the real integration between state efforts, private sector and social efforts, noting that president directions for opening subscription system to
citizens and private sector and announcing the company sharing company have several economic, social and investment dimensions.
"Yemen's Mobile success makes us give priorities to support different qualified institutions and companies to be similar samples to the company supporting national economy," said Mujawar, arguing the company's officials to exert more efforts and working for keeping this progress and protecting assets of all shareholders.
The meeting discussed final accounts and reports on the company's performance for the fiscal year 2007. The final accounts showed that the company has realized regular increase for the past year reached YR 9, 3 billion comparing to 1, 3 billion in 2006 before transforming into sharing company.
According to the annual report on the company's activities of the fiscal year 2007, the profits to be distributed on shareholders have reached YR 8, 2 billion. The report showed that basic profit of the
individual share has increased to YR 108, 40 in 2007 from 15, 97 in
2006.
The whole company's capital is YR 43, 2 billion with YR 500 cost
for the share. The company, which was established on 2004 as
governmental, agreed on distributing profits according suggestion of
its chairman of the board.
