Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh said Saturday the opposition is an inseparable part of components of the political system , stressing in a message addressed to the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) the necessity that the opposition has to practice its role in the frame of committing to the constitution and the operative laws and the respect of the rues of pluralist democratic exercise that dictate the minority respects the right of the majority to undertake its responsibility for managing the country's affairs pursuant to the program according to which that majority won the confidence of the people.
In his message the President emphasized that continuation in resorting to ways of hindrance and putting impossible conditions as well as fabricating crises would lead only to disturb the political life and would not realise understanding and the sought after accord on all that concerns the homeland and its future.
The President expressed his regret for communication of some parties in the JMP with rebellious elements and offering them political, media and information to them, the results of which are harm inflicted on the citizens and members of armed forces and security in addition to supporting the secessionist elements violating the constitution, the regime and the law. Those some of the JMP also participate in some activities without consideration of the results and the damage against the homeland's interest.
President Saleh also in his message tackled a number of issues connected with the dialogue among political parties and underway preparations for holding the upcoming parliamentary elections. The President expressed his hope that leaderships of the JMP would understand facts of those issues with a sense of national responsibility away from any fanaticism or illegitimate compromises outside the constitution and operative laws. He has also called on all to take part in the upcoming parliamentary elections that would be held on their time.
