almotamar.net,Saba - Vice President Abduh Raboh Mansor Hadi attended on Monday a parade and ceremony of launching the 2009 training program for the Republican Guards Force and Special Forces.
The ceremony was attended by Speaker of Parliament Yahya al-Rae'a, Prime Minister Ali Mujawar and Chairman of Shoura Council Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani.
The vice president delivered a speech in which he conveyed regards and congregations of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to the higher command of the armed forces, republican guards and Special Forces on new training year.
He highlighted capacities of the republican guards and Special Forces in doing their tasks in settling security and stability in the country.
The vice president affirmed that the military and security institutions would face any illegal and terror acts target security and social peace of the society, saying that the phase of Saada rebuilding started.
The brigadier Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh, commander of republican guards and Special Forces delivered a speech in which he reviewed achievements of the 2008 training program.
He said that the leadership of republican guards and Special Forces tried to avoid negatives happened in the 2008 program in its preparation for the 2009 training program.
He said that the forces would stand against any one trying to disturb the security and stability of the nation, highlighting support of the defense ministry and general staff to the forces.
He renewed the pledge for the political and military leadership represented by President Saleh to be ready for protecting sovereignty, security and stability of the nation.
