President Saleh expressed admiration for Qatar's hard stand towards the Palestinian case, confirming Yemen's support for Sheikh Hamad's call to hold an emergency Arab summit to create an unite Arab stance on the Israeli strikes against the besieged Gaza Strip.
President Saleh also urged the brotherly Arab countries which have diplomatic and trade relations with Israel to initiate to stop all forms of trade and economic cooperation with Israel, praising Oman's solidarity stance which stopped the cooperation with Israel
Saleh considered the Omani step was at least an Arab stance towards the Israeli genocide war and barbaric aggression and committing against children and women in the Gaza Strip.
