Almotamar.net - Vice-President (VP) of Yemen Abid Rabu Mansour Hadi has on Tuesday deemed the holding of branch conferences of the local councils as a new transfer in democratic life in Yemen, “as our Yemeni people are living at present a new life, i.e. the life of democracy, openness and participation and that is a reflection of the unity and the democratic approach.”

At the conclusion of the plenary branch conference of the local authority in Hadramout on Tuesday the VP called for speeding up in implementation of the local rule in line with President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s platform. Hadi added that the establishment of unity was organically associated with democracy and in the era of unity “we have ended the harms of separation and climates of security and stability have become available,” and development proceeded forward so that al the governorates of Yemen have entertained its goodness. He said the unity would remain firm and as lofty as mountains and it is the dignity of the entire people.

On conclusion of the conference meetings the participants dispatched a telegram to the President of the republic in which they affirmed the greatness of the unity after years of division.

The conference has come out with a closing statement reviewing all that was submitted in the conference of remarks and visions and ideas for the development of the local rule. The participants also stressed the necessity of tackling all the issues in the manner serving integration and abandonment of division and hatred among the people of the one homeland.
