Almotamar.net - Market and Consumer Studies and Research Centre in Yemen sponsors in Sana’a on Wednesday a 4-day conference on company and institution citizenship and social responsibility 2nd conference. Director of the Centre Hamoud al-Bakhiti said the conference aims at spreading culture of social responsibility among the private sector in particular.
He added that the conference aims at emphasizing citizenship of companies and institutions and the social responsibility that means that any company is like any citizen, having rights and duties to fulfill. Al-Bakhiti made it clear that the conference also aims at enhancing citizenship companies and to enable them to grow, continue and realize real partnership between the private and public sectors and the civil society towards joint social; responsibility in addition to contribution to narrow the gap of confidence between the local society and business sector as well as benefiting from local, regional and international experiences in this regard.
