Almotamar.net - Head of the Information Office of the ruling General People's Congress GPC Tareq al-Shamy has affirmed that the army troops have full control on majority of the areas in Saada province and they are achieving victories over Houthi elements of sabotage.
Al-Shamy said," All the sons of Yemen are with the army in its battle to end the elements of insurgency." He pointed out that the army has changed its combat strategy in its confrontation with the elements of destruction and the following days would reveal big victories by the army troops. He has made it clear that the guerilla war the rebels threatened to follow is not something new for the Yemeni army and all the sons of Yemen. The monarchists had used it in their war against the republic in the sixties of the last century, reminding that the success of the Yemeni army and people in defeating the monarchists and the triumph of the revolution and the republic, saying," the Yemeni army and people would score victory at present as well over the Houthi gangs of destruction, as they had done in the past."
Al-Shamy on the other hand expressed his regret for the stance of the Joint Meeting Parties JMP of which he said they did not adopt any responsible patriotic stand vis-à-vis the acts of destruction and rebellion in Saada, pointing out that those parties proceed from excuses for hiding the acts of destruction ' such justification cannot be launched by a party that can be described as a national party.
The GPC official also said the security committee has put conditions for the ceasefire and they are conditions applied in the entire country and the JMP should talk to the elements of destruction to commit to them if it wants to stop the military operations as it says.
In his statements to Al-Jazeera Satellite TV Channel, al-Shamy said there are displaced persons who have been there more than one year since e the halt of the military hostilities last year. The elements of destruction had, after the withdrawal of the armed forces from mountains, attacked the citizens who did not go wit their intentions in the war and expelled them from their houses and the state was compelled to set camps for them in the area of Malahidh and others more than one year.
