Almotamar.net - The official in charge of awareness in the Women against Extremism and Violence Organisation currently visiting Yemen said the aggressions the civilians are exposed to at the hands of the of the Houthi extremists in Saada , confirming that targeting the weak especially the women , children and elderly peoples is considered a crime and terrorist act history would not forgive.

She called for the woman strongly in fighting all acts of extremism and violence, and that is what the world campaign that began last year aims so that the women must be on the first lines for combating the terrorism that groups the women from all parts of the world for the creation of conscious woman contributes to make the world more peaceful.

She points out that the Yemeni woman inside the family is having a high value and therefore she has the opportunity for passing values of peace and tolerance for her children by her full awareness of the danger of extremists. She said the organisation would work for providing the tools necessary for the Yemeni woman in order to challenge the extremist thought through criticizing dialogue and mobilization of the youth to benefit from admitting of the futility of extremist activities, in order to create an atmosphere for the positive change.

About the visit to Yemen that lasts from 26 October to 2 December she says the organization's team would hold meetings with representatives of a number of civil society organisations to listen to their ideas on how to mobilize for the values of peace in the Yemeni society. in addition, the team would discuss formation of woman groups to be as a reference point for each other and there will be holding of workshops for a group of women and makers of local and international policies and founding communicating structures necessary for the activity of work as one team and consequently to be more effective in achieving the suggested goals.
