Almotamar.net - General Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh , commandeer of the Republican Guard , the commander of the Special Forces , has on Thursday denied the correctness of the interview ascribed to him min Al-Dastour weekly newspaper , published in its issue of last Monday.
In a statement to 26 September website General Ahmed Ali said he has not given any interview to the said newspaper and that at the time when he appreciates the good intentions of the newspaper in creating such a dialogue but that contradicts all criteria of the press law and ethics of the profession that prevent attributing a statement to any person without a permission from him.
In his statement General Saleh said he would take this opportunity to emphasize that the armed forces and security are working in the spirit of one team and it is groundless on existence of differences among any of their commands and that those who promote for such false claims express what their sick selves hide of rancor and hatred against this national establishment which was and still offering noble sacrifices in defence of Yemen's unity, sovereignty and great status. he added that those spreading rumours and lies want the cheap intrigue and spread of sedition not just among the armed forces and security but rather at the level of the whole homeland , saying ," our Yemeni people realize the reality of those intrigues and seditions and realize that they are capable of surmounting them as they did for many of them in the past," confirming that the armed forces and security are aware of the wicked schemes aimed security and stability against the unity of this homeland and its sovereignty, stability and security and they would stand against them whatever the price was , under the wise national leadership of president Ali Abdullah Saleh who has led the people to safety and overcame the ordeal of division and backwardness toward the unity, giving , construction and democracy and towards realization of more victories, building , development and great achievements.
