Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Saturday a letter from his Egyptian counterpart Mohammed Hosni Mubarak dealing with bilateral relations and areas of cooperation of the two countries in addition to preparations for London Conference.
The Egyptian President’s letter was conveyed by Egypt’s Foreign Minister Ahmed Abu Al-Ghait and Head of the General Intelligence Service Onar Suleiman at a meeting with President Saleh in Sana’a today.
The letter dealt with Egypt’s re-affirmation of its stand by Yemen and its security , stability and unity and Egypt’s keenness on backing up Yemen during the upcoming London meeting scheduled next Wednesday in the manner guaranteeing the coming out with results serving Yemen’s interest and enhancing its capabilities of facing challenges. The conference is expected to be attended by Egypt and a number of Arab and friendly countries.
The meeting discussed a number of issues and topics that concern the two countries and the Arab nation.
President Saleh voiced Yemen’s leadership, government and people valuation of stances of President Mubarak and brothers in Egypt in support of Yemen, indicating that is not something new for Egypt that has always stood by Yemen in the most difficult circumstances.
