Upon his arrival, President Saleh unveiled the memorial plaque for the projects, which will cost more than YR 7.5 billion and included projects of lighting a number of internal streets and projects of roads in the province.
President Saleh also inaugurated the work in a number of service and development projects at a total cost of YR 8.857 billion. The projects included the first and second phases of al-Saleh Corniche, the second phase of Daghlan Khor, the rehabilitation of Bin Salman Stadium, and the construction of seven sports clubs, as well as asphalting of some areas, streets and roads in some districts of the province.
After that, Saleh distributed a number of buses to a number of sports clubs in the province within the promotion for sports activities in the province.
Moreover, President Saleh visited al-Shuhada'a Square Stadium, and May 22 Park in Ja'ar district and got acquainted with the conditions of citizens in the district.
He opened the sports hall in Zinjbar district and met in it with members of the local councils and executive offices, scholars, sheikhs, social figures, leaders of civil society organizations, representatives of youth and women, security and military leaders, and citizens.
Furthermore, a ceremony was held on the occasion of the President's visit to the province. In his speech at the ceremony, President Saleh expressed his happiness to visit the province, pointing to the strategic projects and achievements that have been achieved in the province.
