Almotamar.net - Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Aziz Saleh Bin Habtoor he held a meeting today with the Minister of Finance Saleh Shaaban and the financial, administrative and technical leaderships of the ministry. The Premier confirmed that the Ministry of Finance is the only responsible institution in the country to manage and defend the financial issues of the country.
He stressed that the ministry should resume its work and manage its financial functions and apply laws and regulations concerning the financial issues, in accordance with the rights ratified legislations.
He pointed to the importance of this sovereign ministry role to face the current challenges because of the aggression and the blockade.
"The ministry should activate its role and apply the financial law upon all, and any financial policies should be passed through the Ministry of Finance." Bin Habtoor said.
"We swore an oath before the Supreme Political Council to respect the Constitution and law, and the government has won the confidence of the House of Representatives, after our commitments that the governmental institutions should back to work according to laws, rules and regulations in force, and apart from the random and individual management." Bin Habtoor added.
He said that the Ministry of Finance staff should back to perform their works and duties in order to serve the national economy and enhancing the internal stability and facing the aggression in various fronts.
He also praised the ministry efforts during the past period, especially in light of the continued aggression and siege, despite the challenges and difficulties it had faced.
