Interview broadcast by Arabiya television in Dubai.

According to Reuters agency Saudi authorities took Friday security measure to secure their oil and economic essential structure against dangers of a terrorist threat.

In his statement al-Turki made it clear that the terrorist threat is valid and it is a declared target by a group endeavors to impinge upon interests of the Saudi citizen. He stressed that the Saudi security troops are cooperating with and coordinating with the Saudi navy in operations of securing the installations. Meanwhile, some western naval forces in the Gulf region have carried out operations of deployment in the Gulf for fear of sea threats aimed at Ras Tanoura oil terminal.

An office of the British Navy in Dubai had earlier warned of an attack targeting commercial navigation in the Arabian Gulf. The British warning came in the wake of a threat by al-Qaeda last week of targeting seaports of the Gulf region.
