Al-Attiyah also said over two days the meeting will review around 20 studies and 88 investment programs focusing on productive industries and infrastructures sectors as well as services, education and development of resources. The GCC secretary-general expected that the meeting to be held on Tuesday in Sana�a will approve all those studies and the third development plan in preparation for submitting them to the donors conference scheduled in London the mid of November.

He lauded the role played by the Yemeni government under the leadership of President Ali Abdullah Saleh regarding the progress being achieved pertaining the package of reforms. On his arrival in Sana�a and his accompanying delegation al-Attiyah pointed out that there were desire, determination and will under directives of the GCC states leaders to work on pushing and mustering the resources that will contribute to implement the investment program and the third plan for development in Yemen.
The meeting of the GCC foreign ministers and Yemen will be followed with a symposium to be held in Dubai on Yemen integration in economies of the GCC states in cooperation with the Gulf Center for Research which is based in Dubai on 8 and 9 of next February to discuss a group of researches, studies and working papers on the importance of Yemen�s integration with the Gulf region economies and the strategic importance that Yemen represents regarding the Gulf region. The symposium will also deal with the cultural, civilization, security and strategic dimensions of the Yemeni Gulf relations. The studies and researches will be presented by group of researchers, academicians and specialists from Yemen and the GCC states.
Yemen minister of foreign affairs and expatriates Abu Bakr al-Qirbi affirmed in a statement to News Yemen site the Sana�a conference will be attended buy high-ranking delegations as a confirmation of their support of London conference where the Yemeni delegation will be chaired by President Ali Abdullah Saleh. .
