Almotamar.net - SANAA-Yemen foreign minister Dr Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi leaves for Jordan Wednesday leading a Yemeni delegation of 12 political organizations and personalities representing the civil society to attend the ministerial meeting of the Future Forum to commence there on Thursday.

According to a press release issued Tuesday by the Center of Information and Qualification for Human Right almotamar.net received a copy of it, the Yemeni delegation will present at the meeting two reports on Yemen�s activity in enhancement of regional democratic dialogue. The first one about the government side prepared by the foreign ministry and the second about the civil society to be presented by Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITS).
Dr. Al-Qirbi clarified that the delegation would present at the forum Yemen�s latest presidential and local elections experiment and results of the conference of democracy, human rights and freedom of expression Sana�a hoisted last June. He indicated that Yemen will present its future program and the activities it intends to carry out as being responsible for the program on the freedom of expression in accordance with indicators of Sana�a conference.
In his statement published by Al-Thawra daily the minister said Yemen�s participation would be active through the official side and representatives of civil society organizations and because Yemen plays a significant role in this regard in its capacity as member of the triple committee concerned with supporting and dissemination of the democratic dialogue in the world. The committee was set up by the G-8 summit held in Sea Island, the United States in June 2004. The committee includes Italy, Turkey and Yemen.

Meetings of the ministerial forum of the civil society began in Jordan yesterday with participation of 300 Arab personalities representing NGOs, political parties, trade unions and parliaments from Arab countries, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Turkey. It also included European and American organizations.
