Jamil al-Jadabi(almotamar.net) - SANA'A- Hundreds of Yemeni citizens today staged a peaceful sit-in before the ministry of interior premises in Sana'a city, in protest against the killing of two security men. Protestors demanded perpetrators be tried, and call those who harbor and use them as bodyguards to account.
MPs and social figures, as well as the families of the two soldiers who were killed yesterday, attended the sit-in that ended this afternoon. They condemned all forms of using arms in the capital city and using murderers as bodyguards for MPs.
During their sit-in, protestors raised photos of the two soldiers, Abdul-Fattah al-Bekri and Sameer al-Jameeli, who were killed on Monday during exchange of fire with bodyguards of MP Mithihij al-Ahmer.
Participants condemned the stance of the ministry of interior and judiciary authorities in being silent towards the spread of arms and victims of mishandle of arms.
