Almotamar Net - Head of Information and Legal Committees at the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate (YJS), the editor in chief of Annas newspaper Ali al-Jaradi announced Sunday his resignation from the YJS Council attributing his resignation to personal reasons. Al-Jaradi called on the journalist community to work closely with the chairman of the YJS and members of the syndicate's council and to pardon him for any negligence he might have done.

In a news item published on nasspress website he wished journalists and members of the YJS council to work for providing more press rights and freedoms.

Al-Jaradi resignation comes four months after resignation of the syndicate's secretary general Hafidh al-Bukari for reasons to his study outside Yemen.
