Almotamar.net - Security authorities in the governorate of Abyan sent to prosecution a fishing boat shipmaster that caused the drowning and death of seven women last Saturday. The boat capsized and caused the death of four sisters from one family and other three gills from another family whose ages were between 13 to 17 years in addition to an 8-year child.

In a statement to almotamar.net security sources attributed capsize of the boat to the overload while it was carrying the victims just 500 meters offshore as well as the risk of its owner.

The boat was on a sea cruise carrying 12 girls from two families from al-Baidha governorate, only five girls had recovered.

Security sources considered the incident as a warning to dangers of using small fishing boats in sea cruises made in different coastal governorates of Yemen especially during summer vacations.
