Almotamar.net - Reliable sources informed almotamar.net that a diplomat at the US embassy was injured Thursday midday in a traffic accident in the outskirts of the capital Sana'a.

The sources said the assistant director of Coordination Office at the US embassy sustained fractures and bruises resulting from overturn of the Land cruiser car he was driving in the area of Dhabr Khabra, the district of Bilad Al-Rous outside the capital and was taken to the Yemeni-German Hospital in Sana'a.

A source at the traffic of Sana'a governorate ascribed the incident to the high speed the American diplomat was driving his car that ran out of its track and toppled.
