Almotamar.net - The minister of culture Dr Abu Bakr al-Maflihi said on Thursday his ministry is preparing for a national conference on unity and social peace to be attended by Yemeni and Arab literary men and thinkers.

Al-Maflihi told almotamar.net the conference would discuss issues pertaining to national unity, terror, abandonment of extremism, extremist unilateral thought and building of national culture. He indicated that the conference would also discuss cultural and intellectual issues of interest for the homeland and the nation. Participants will include many literary men and thinkers from Arab and Islamic countries.

The minister indicated that the ministry has begun preparation for the conference to be held next December.
