Almotamar,net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Sunday gave instructions to the government for adopting a new mechanism for the distribution of wheat in unified prices in all governorates, indicating the necessity of finding a mechanism for selling wheat in unified prices in the similar to the way oil products are being sold.

In his address to the main permanent committee of the GPC that concluded its second session today, the president affirmed that all should purify their minds, especially for those in the ruling party and the opposition should do the same for it is unacceptable that there a corrupt and talks about corruption.

Addressing the permanent committee meeting the president said, "As we are concluding the meeting of the main permanent committee after its formation two years ago at the GPC's 7th general conference we thank the members of the committee for their interruptions and concerns they have expressed in those discussion which are an expression of the people masses." He told them "You express the people masses because you are from the people and from the people's GPPC which has given the homeland what no other political party did."
The president renewed his directives to the government to speed up finishing amendments on the local authority law that include election of governors and heads of the districts. The president said there is no fear from elections of the local authority despite that many governors' performance was negative but there is no caution of increasing powers so that there will be contest between the governorates and that which brings more revenues " we will increase our support from the central revenues."

The president also demanded the government to expand in technical and vocational education to receive graduates and enable them enter the labour market. "
