Almotamar Net - Director General of Compilations and Intellectual Property at the Ministry of Information Abdulmalik al-Qutaa on Saturday said the Ministry has made preparations for hosting an International Conference on Protection of Intellectual Property in Sanaa beginning of next November.

almotamar.net - Director General of Compilations and Intellectual Property at the Ministry of Information Abdulmalik al-Qutaa on Saturday said the Ministry has made preparations for hosting an International Conference on Protection of Intellectual Property in Sana'a beginning of next November.

The Information Ministry official added that representatives of more than 35 Arab, Asian and African countries are expected to attend the conference. He said the conference would discuss a number of issues related to intellectual property of the popular heritage, folklore and professions in addition to legal concepts of inherited sources and traditional knowledge, folklore and future policies for preparation of effective plans for the protection of those sources.

Al-Qutaa also pointed out that the conferees are expected to come out with unified visions for protection those rights and protecting them from any side whatsoever.
