almotamar.net - Chief of staff of Yemen central security brigadier general Yahya Mohammed Abdullah Saleh on Tuesday discussed with number of security delegations representing the United States of America, the United Kingdom and a number of African countries issued related to cooperation of Yemen with those countries in the field of combating terror.

Saleh affirmed in the meeting care and attention of the political leadership, the interior ministry, and command of the central security are behind success of the anti-terror unit at the command of the central security. The Yemeni official expressed Yemen's willingness to offer help and expertise in this field in the light of the agreements and protocols signed in the area of combating terror.

Representatives of those countries have shown their admiration the Yemeni forces of combating terror have attained, confirming they have come to benefit from successes of the Yemeni unit and the good reputation it has acquired at the international level and also to enhance ways of cooperation between Yemen and their countries.

The foreign security delegation paid a field visit to the unit of combating terror and saw different stages of training and qualification the personnel of the unit were receiving. They have also listened to explanation on tasks of training and operations carried out by the unit as well as the successes achieved through the unit since its formation in fighting and curbing its happening crime and arresting its perpetrators.
