The organisation official added the database would be very vital for it would contain information on African migrants coming to Yemen. On the other hand he said his organisation will not be able to manage the database without getting support from donors and that it is still looking for funding the project.

He said the database will be shared with the United Nations, international non-governmental organisations and local authorities that deal with migrants affairs and asylum seekers, adding that the database aims to enable the organisation and its partners to coordinate among themselves in a better manner for offering humanitarian assistance to the migrants from the countries of the Horn of Africa.
