almotamar.net - Secretary-General of the Yemeni General People's Congress (GPC) ruling Party Abdulqader Bajammal has called on Arab political parties, whether ruling or opposition, to rally behind their g governments to protect their countries against any external pressures or conspiracies.

Bajammal added," It is no longer acceptable today the ruling party in any country is responsible for everything, this is a grave mistake and the arties must take part in works of development and drawing up policies."

In his statement to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai Al-A'am he warned against the phenomenon of family or tribal parties that are not founded on political programmes but rather connected to leader of the family or chief of the tribe. He said those parties constitute danger on the political action rendering it into a tribal action.
