almotamar.net - A Japanese-Dutch tourist group visited Sunday the historical landmarks of Tarim and Seyoun cities in the governorate of Hadramout. The tourist team got acquainted with the architectural style of Asha Palace that is full of ornaments that are considered artistic masterwork reflection the civilization of the Yemeni man.

The tourist team has also visited the high Al-Mihdhar minaret and Al-Ahqaf library of manuscripts of books and valuable scientific reference books whose number is more than 100 thousand manuscripts.

In its tour of the city of Seyoun the tourists visited Seyoun Palace built of mud in a unique architectural style remaining erect for more than 500 years. The team saw the Seyoun Palace Museum of antiquities depicting various periods of history; some of them date back to 2660 years and the pavilion of traditions that relates the life of the humans in this area over many stages of history.
The tourists team has expressed in a statement to almotamar.net the tourists pleasure for visiting Hadramout Valley, affirming that the heritage and civilization they saw in the area are indications of the progress of the civilization of this area. The team said the area is among areas of rare beauty due to its tourist and historical landmarks.

The team said the programme of its visit includes a number of Yemeni governorates like Shabwa, Mahweet and Sana'a.
