almotamar.net - The conference of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) health ministers approved application of the systems of health insurance to the sons of Yemen resident in the GCC countries according to the system of each country provided that the Republic of Yemen should write to the GCC secretary general on that question.

The decision provided enabling the Yemenis living in the GCC states would benefit from preliminary health care especially pertaining to vaccination, maternity and childhood care and preventive activities. The conference also approved holding the next conference in Yemen at the beginning of next year.

The conference also came out with decisions and recommendations related to the GCC common market and the health and cooperation for making the Arabian Peninsula free from malaria.
