Almotamar Net - A meeting was held Thursday at the administration of al-Thawra Hospital in Sanaa by the preparatory committee for the 6th Gulf conference of the heart society and the Yemeni cardiac conference to be organised by the ministry of public health and population represented by Al-Thawra Hospital and the executive bureau of the Gulf Cooperation (GCC) states, during the period 9-11 April 2008. Almotamar.net - A meeting was held Thursday at the administration of al-Thawra Hospital in Sana'a by the preparatory committee for the 6th Gulf conference of the heart society and the Yemeni cardiac conference to be organised by the ministry of public health and population represented by Al-Thawra Hospital and the executive bureau of the Gulf Cooperation (GCC) states, during the period 9-11 April 2008.

Chairman of the preparatory committee of the Gulf 6th conference of the heart society Ahmed al-Mutarib reviewed preparations and arrangements for the conference and the important activities that coincide with holding the conference that is considered of the biggest medical conferences that Yemen hosts.

He has also indicated the importance of the medical conference of which he said will be attended by 600 participants, 500 of them are Yemeni specialists, consultants and doctors from all Yemen's governorates, in addition to 100 of international consultants and experts in heart from the GCC states, Arab, European and American countries.

Al-Mutarib said the conference will be a new medical source from which the Yemeni medical cadres will benefit by reviewing many of international experiences in treating cardiac diseases.
