Almotamar.net - Security authorities in Yemen captured in Saada governorate Friday around 250kg of hashish and another quantity of drugs in Sana'a governorate.

Local sources told almotamar.net Saturday that security men in Saada governorate seized a 250kg of hashish shipment carried in a bus while the driver was trying to cross the security checkpoint for smuggling the quantity. The sources pointed out that the car and its driver as well as the hashish quantity was held in preparation for investigation into the issue.

Meanwhile, security sources in Sana'a told almotamar.net Friday that security men at a security checkpoint were able to capture a quantity of narcotics in a car in Bani Matar area, Sana'a before being transported into Sana'a. As the quantity of narcotics is not known yet or the place it was brought from the sources mentioned that the quantity was retained and interrogation of the car driver had already started before he is sent to court for trial.
