Almotamar Net - Director of the National Museum in Yemen Abdulaziz al-Jandari said Saturday the museum has latterly finished reparation of 130 pieces of antiquities dating to the pre-Islamic period and the Yemeni ancient civilization. Speaking to almotamar.net the Director al-Jandari said among the repaired antiques were 10 different bronze pieces dating to the Yemeni ancient civilization period and 120 pieces represent palm trees with inscriptions of the Book of Psalms dating back to pre-Islam period. He pointed out that the process of repairs has cost YR more than one million and performed by Yemeni professionals at the workshops of the museum and took three months time.

On the other hand a statistic of the National Museum points out that the museum has over the past four months 14600 visitors, among them 4 thousand foreign visitors from various nationalities.
