Almotamar.net - Specialised Criminal court chaired Monday by Judge Mohammed al-Hakimi decided allowed the defence body, defending the persons accused of communicating in favour an Arab state, to reply to presentation of the prosecution representative and decided also to postpone its sitting to the beginning of next June.
Meanwhile, the representative of the attorney general demanded the court to confirm the primary sentence against Hamad Ali al-Dhahouk and Abdulaziz Hassan al-Hatabani after they were convicted of communicating in favour of a foreign state.
In the sitting devoted to reply to the defendants appeal, the representative of the attorney general said they are condemned of contacting for foreign states and that act would damage the political and diplomatic status of Yemen and its relations with other states. He demanded the court not to pay heed to the defendants appeal and to confirm the primary sentence issued against them.
It is to be mentioned that the Fist Instance Court had on 16 last February passed death sentences against al-Dhahouk and the al Hatabani after condemning them of communicating in favour of foreign sides.
