On Sunday evening security authorities at Sana'a International Airport seized 715 thousand drug tablets hidden inside water heaters belonging to a Syrian merchant. Information Centre of the Interior Ministry mentioned that the quantity arrived on 6 June and the owner of the shipment waited until last Sunday to transfer the water heaters sent to him and were filled with narcotic tablets in addition to 56 soap sticks placed there for camouflage. The centre added that the Syrian dealer was arrested along with the person who undertook the process of the shipment clearance from the airport and were sent for interrogation.
