Almotamar.net, Saba - Members of the Supreme Commission for Election and Referendum (SCER) swore on Saturday the constitutional oath before President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

SCER's members who swore the oath are: Khaled Abdulwahab al-Sharif, Dr. Ja'afer Saeed Ba-Salah, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah al-Sayani, Alawi Ali al-Mashhour, Abdu Mohammed al-Jundi, Mohammed al-Saqaf Abdul-Rahman Balghait.

After taking the oath, the president held a meeting with the SCER's members, congratulating them on the confidence they have obtained.

President Saleh highlighted the importance of responsibilities being placed on their shoulders to run and implement the upcoming parliamentary election in time with transparency and impartiality.

He emphasized the necessity of forming the electoral committees of the SCER from all the political powers, accentuating the importance of observing laws, constitution and the democratic principles.
