Almotamar.net - Judicial source revealed to almotamar.net about an expected refer to criminal prosecution of 60 persons suspected to be affiliate of al-Qaeda organisation in prelude to send them to stand trial.

The source that asked not to be identifies has expected that the files of suspected 60 persons would be handed over to the criminal prosecution within the next three weeks. The prosecution would undertake investigations and interrogation of them in an introduction to be sent to trial.

The source made it clear that the suspected are affiliate of three terrorist cells, indicating they were arrested during the campaigns launched by security authorities lately against al-Qaeda elements in governorates of Sana'a, Aden, Abyan, Hadramout and Mareb.

According to the source the suspected are top face charges of affiliation to al-Qaeda organisation and involvement in implementation of terrorist acts in Yemen, among them the latest terrorist attempted attack targeting the US embassy in Sana'a as well as the terrorist attack on the security complex in the city of Seyoun and blasting an oil pipeline in Mareb.
