Almotamar.net - The Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) in Yemen called those wishing to participate in the observation process of revising and amending voter tables from political parties and organisations as well as civil society organisations concerned with elections, in addition to local media, embassies of Arab and friendly countries and international organisations working in Yemen, to present their applications to civil society organisations sector at the SCER in two weeks time.

The SCER considered its call as embodiment of the principle of transparency and integrity in practicing all electoral procedures and it gave conditions that the applying sides should define the name of the participant side and names of the participating persons and sites of participation. In its Wednesday meeting the SCER also approved the mechanism of examining and technical electronic revision of the database of voter tables.
