Almotamar.net - Yemen has intensified its contacts with the American side for the release of sheikh Mohammed Ali al-Mouayad and his companion Mohammed Zaid and the carrying out of the verdict of the US appeals court that stipulated acquittal of al-Mouayad and Zaid and dropped punishments issued against them by the US Court of First Instance, the appeals court judgment also ordered their release unless the American government requires trying them again within 14 days.

A source at the Yemeni Foreign Ministry said Wednesday there is steady follow-up for the release of sheikh al-Mouayad and his companion Zaid held in the United States of America.
