Almotamar.net - Yemeni embassy in Malaysia has completed arrangements for the visit to Yemen by a biggest Malaysian commercial delegation for the period 20-25 December 2008. The Malaysian delegation to be led by chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Malaysia Ali al-Attas.
In a statement to almotamar.net on Thursday the Yemeni ambassador to Malaysia Abdullah al-Muntasir said the delegation is to include 40 personalities from various industry, trade and tourism sectors and investment in Malaysia.
Al-Muntasir added that visit of the delegation to Yemen comes in coincidence with convention of Yemeni Industries Conference to be under sponsorship of the Yemeni Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mukalla. It is also expected that the delegation will also include participation of the former Malaysian Prime Minister Professor Mahatir Mohammed.
On the other hand Mr Ali al-Attas revealed in his meeting with the Yemeni ambassador to Malaysia on Wednesday his intention to build a tourist project in the city of Mukalla at a cost of $10 million.
